What Is the Notes Tool?

The Notes tool is a fast private writing space for everything you want to remember. Open the page and the composer at the top is already waiting for a title and a few lines of text. Click away and the note saves itself instantly so there is never a save button to hunt for. Use it for meeting points shopping lists reminders draft ideas or any thought you want close at hand while you work study or plan your week. There is no page reload and no waiting, so capturing a single thought takes less than a second of your time.

Write and Edit Notes in Seconds

Your notes appear as cards in a responsive grid that reflows from three columns down to a single column on a phone. Click any card to reopen it in the composer and continue exactly where you left off. A fresh note opens from the same composer at the top of the page and one click on the close button stores everything. Empty drafts are discarded so a stray click never clutters your board.

Organize Notes With Labels and Colors

Each note can carry a color and one or more labels. Choose from eight background colors to group related ideas visually, create as many labels as you need from the sidebar, and filter the whole board with a single click on a label chip. The chips show live counts so you always know how many notes belong to each label. Click the same chip again to clear the filter and see everything at once.

Pin Archive and Trash Your Notes

Pin the notes you reach for every day so they stay in the pinned section above the rest. Archived notes leave the main list but remain available in the archive view where one click brings them back. Deleted notes move to the trash so you can restore them later or remove them forever when you are certain. Each view has its own heading and empty state message so you always know where you are looking.

Everything runs locally in your browser and is kept in the storage of your own device. Nothing is uploaded to a server so personal entries stay private to you. Reload the page and your notes labels and settings are exactly as you left them ready for the next idea.
